The East Coast Sinfonietta was founded by conductor Frankie Ayers in 2016 and consists of friendly and talented musicians from the local area.
Frankie Ayers has toured widely with the Suffolk Youth Orchestra and was principal tuba player for the Suffolk Wind Band. He is a keen horse rider.
British (Gorleston-on-Sea) cellist Maxim Calver was one of the three finalists in the 2018 BBC Young Musician of the Year competition having earlier won the Strings Category final. He was a pupil at the Yehudi Menuhin School and now studies at the Royal College of Music, London.
